Continuing Education for license renewal

Utah real estate licenses are renewed every two years.
CE is only required if renewing an active license, (renewals on inactive status do not require CE).
Renewal for an active license requires 18 hours of continuing education (9 hours must be Core credits).
  • First renewal after licensing requires, as part of the 18 hours:
    • The 12 Hour New Agent Course and the 3 Hour Mandatory Course
  • Subsequent renewals require 18 CE hours, including the 3 Hour Mandatory Course, 9 must be Core hours.

Waiver Education

For those with a waiver from the Utah Division of Real Estate (with previous real estate education).
